Dying
 

Well guys, my sh3 days are over :( Been having problems for a while now, with dying at end of patrol 3 or 4. Tried loads of mods. Apart from trying "stock" game I have had enough:/\\!!.

Came across LSH 3 and tried that. LOVED it at first, much better throughout, graphics etc. much improved. Alas TODAY finished my 1st patrol, and "YES" you've guessed it :( DEAD AGAIN when arriving back at base.
I'm a very patient guy, but this game has pushed me past my limit.
It's goodbye sh3, back to sh5 and hope it is better :):):timeout:

Run JSGME in your SH3 game folder johnboy1958, and use "Tasks..." in the middle of the Window, and then "Export activated mods list to --->" and then either do "Clipboard" for pasting it into your next posting, or "Text file" for later copying and pasting into another post. Perhaps there is something you have in your list that is causing your untimely passing. SH3 seems to "break" things on your boat if the config isn't "just so" sometimes. Perhaps someone will see something amiss in your list, and get it to where you can at least make the fifth patrol before dying... If I start in later 1943 in SH3, I am usually dead after one or two patrols, mostly due to the Allies' better ASW weaponry... :arrgh!:

You don't have Onedrive running by any chance?

In my experience, it screws things up royally.

Were you attacked by aircraft?

If you mean is that why I was dying, NO wish it was. Simply returned to base usually after 3rd or 4th patrol, and DEAD !!!! That's why gave it up, no matter what mods or settings i used had the same result.

Moved on to SH 5 and that won't save games, I can't start a saved mission can only start from a new start. Trying sh4 at the moment and well time will tell !!!!!:Kaleun_Mad:

Well, old man, are you still around ? I have new game for you,Trying to make old games work,Is a lota work.I have it and still play it but it's on a seperate hard drive. And when i lose that game, it will be a loss of a part of my life. Anywho, Are you still looking for adventure and independence in an open world game ?

I don't know if I understood correctly the problem, but could it be that you are running into the port mines when returning to port?
