Modding
Hey guys,
now that itīs out, I couldnt stop myself from taking a look into the gamefiles. Turns out this is as highly modable as Cold Waters. Just wanted to start a thread, hoping some CW modders or people that are interested are here to discuss some thing. Iīm currently working on bringing more modern USN missiles (Like SM-6) into the game. Just for fun and to familiarize myself with the basics. I dont know nearly enough about unity and the game in general to add new models but I thought maybe thereīs some way to port CW models over? Just an idea, havenīt looked into it yet. |
Welcome back!

Same for me.
I have been modding for over 10yrs. Recently I made the AIM-174b for DCS and am currently making the F-35a for DCS. I'm going to do the same for Sea Power. I can model and code. Last version of unity i worked in was 2019. I might be interested in teaming up. I don't check in here at subsim often but you can reach me at arioch.bsg@gmail.com

Looks likes a lot of old timer are popping up now that we have a new modern naval combat sim. The unit database seems to be well documented and easily moddable but the dav need to provide a separate location for use database/assets and a selection option in the game as it seems every patch will rewrite the current ini files.
