In dire straights the RFA in crisis
 
Just what it says on the tin really, the RFA like the MSC is over looked under rated under paid and over worked not to mention over stretched.

What does RFA mean ? R must be Royal and A must be assistance. I can't figure out letter F.

In Swedish we call them Trängfartyg - Common name for different type of supply vessels.

It was on one of these the name of this vessel was HMS Pelikanen (A247)

RFA stands for Royal Fleet Auxiliary
