silent 3 editor not running
 

Does anyone know how to solve the problem with running silent 3ditor (it just doesn't start for me)

Hi ofttqp whats your SH3 version steam download or dvd have you moded SH3 if so with what super mods also where did you install your SH3.

I use the steam version(vanila), and I meant sh3 editor is a modding program and for some reason it doesn't even start the process in the task manager

Hi ofttqp you have a PM from me with SH3 none steam download that i zipped up from my dvd install you will need 7zip to extract SH3 install Folder.
Make a Games Folder on drive C:/ but outside Program/Files X86 or on a second drive unpack and your good to go Sir

Do you get any error messages when you attempt to start the app? S3D does require the same DirectX v9.0c files and codecs that SH3 needs to run. Also, navigate into your S3D folder (mine is "C:\Program Files (x86) \skwas \Silent 3Ditor"), find the S3D.exe file, right-click on it and choose "Properties". On the "compatibility" tab, make certain none of the options are chosen. If it is already set like that, you could try ticking the "Run this program as an administrator" box, and try running it again. :salute:

To be honest, I'm so tired of messing with SH3ED that the best way to solve this problem would be suggestions for installing similar programs because I think there is hardly only SH3ED
