SUBSIM Radio Room Forums - Did the Minoans steal Lake Superior's copper?

I'm finding this story to be quite interesting. Somebody took the copper, but suddenly they stopped when Santorini blew it's top.

Did the Minoans sail to Lake Superior to mine copper fueling the bronze age?
