pan speed on a modern pc
Hello,
I have installed SH3 on a i-9 3.6ghz (5.0ghz in turbo) windows 11 machine which also uses an Nvidia 3070 video card and has 32gb of ram. However when I try playing it, the panning speed on the bridge or either telescope is way too fast, it takes about 2 seconds to do a complete 360 revolution using either the mouse or keyboard. Is there any way to slow this down, as it is currently making the game unplayable. Thanks Rugbyfan1972 |
Couple of things to try
You are on a different planet to me! it sounds like a Windows issue, maybe some compatibility settings to play with.
Ctrl F8 what framerate do you get? Under video options menu turn synchronise on (I think it then needs a restart). By the way, there's a bug associated with very high framerates where the game time can get out of sync with the time of day. Hold Ctrl key to lower the sensitivity of periscope/binocular/Uzo movement. You haven't got shift lock on? Shift accelerates the movements. |
Welcome board!

Anyway i'm shure you need "a.g. mouse sensitivity patch". Or "Tycho Patch" where it is also included. You can use your own Hex-values if the included ones are too slow or fast for you. The technic was posted here first by "a.g.", then in some other threads. Search, easy to find. Greetings. |
