UBootAces updating idea?
 

Given people ask about this from time to time? I'd like some help if you please.
I don't have an install that I've EVER played for a long time. But I did check and it seems the list is updated by year for listed Aces?

Can someone confirm this to be true?

It appears to me Aces scores are updated depending on the date you view them in the office screen.

Given that is true?
I've started a little thingy to work with the files.
Could someone send me the document folder for SH3 with a good long career?

Is it worth comparing real war results with a video game? :hmmm:

Unfortunately, I do not have a long career... in fact, I might have maybe 3 or 4 saves, and then go to test something else... We'll have to wait on a dedicated player, and not a modder for that request Jeff. Also, not a true "confirmation, but from what I remember, the board does update, so long as the cfg file list is properly built. Like most other things in the Silent Hunter world, if you get one bit of data out of place, or incorrect order, the display "hangs" and does not update, or CTDs... sigh

I do see the Aces update depending on date in Game.
My non-Career is listed at the bottom of course. 0 tonnage.

I'll play with that save and adjust tonnage to see what happens.
I'm thinking I'll still be posted at the bottom no matter what?

All these years and this is something I never had a clue about!
