^ Bet you never went to see Chanctonbury Ring? Moira took this photo in July 1987 while we were out looking for downland butterflies; it was decimated in the widespread gales a couple of months later so this is a valuable shot - it looks a bit raggedy now

It was an Iron Age hillfort (in West Sussex) later becoming the site of a Roman temple. Really eerie place - no birds singing up there

When I was there, there was a ton of tourist (aside from myself) but I did get a few decent photos of Stonehenge. It also happened to be one of the only days it rained when I was there in September of last year.
