Depthcharge attacks and time compression.
Do they mix? Depthcharge attacks can last hours and I am not waiting in real-time for them to stop. When I use time compression all warnings and sounds go out the window.
Either it stops or all of a sudden were damaged and things go down the poop-shoot. How do you all deal with time compression during an attack? Thanks! |

I do not use time compression if I am under attack. If I think I am relative save and have a good deep and curse, I let it go and do something else in real life, like watch TV or read a book. I just have a look every 15 minutes on the sub and change the curse or so. |
It’s a risk, but you can play to 8x if I remember correctly… and it shouldn’t be a problem.
But in all honesty… if you do not have the time to play, this game may not be suitable for you. It’s not built for speed gaming. |

I use a lot of time compression in the game....waiting for convoys...attacking convoys even getting attacked by escorts :03: |

i have try tc couple of times under attack never work out and if you play did and got to start over just not worth it i do tc if they far enough away

One of the best ways I have learned to avoid most DC attacks, is after completing torpedo attacks, I go to flank speed and dive to 150 meters. As soon as I hit the 140 m mark, I'll go to silent running (F8) key. Then if the DD's are far enough away I start zig-zagging in 15 minute intervals. And once the DD's are 2400 m away, then I may use TC up to 2 or 4x. Hey, it works for me.
