BdU first starts asking position and status when I am about half an hour out of port with a new mission and then starts spamming me with convoy radio contact reports over 500km away.

i may be wrong, but the stark-raving-mad guy is in Berlin, or Berchtesgaden, or wherever your nearest stark-raving-mad outlet is. :har:

seriously, the messages are stored in a file and delivered when the game timer matches the delivery time in that file. if you search the Mods forum here, you may find a find for that. "May" being the operant word.
