S3D 3d models units

Hi,

What units will S3D export models in?

I exported the models from SH4, and imported into UE5, but in the "normal" units (i.e. w/o any scaling) the models are microscopic (almost literally).

I need to use a multiplier of at least 100 to get it to a right size, but even that looks smallish TBH, so I'm not sure whether it'd not be 1000?

Thanks,

It is generally accepted that 1 unit in s3ditor is 10 meters.
Many model sizes are very inaccurate, you just need to know this. If you measure the length of the uss cashalot boat in fortsu, take the coordinates of the extreme points and add them 4.15+3.95=8.1 8.1*10=81 meters, well, it roughly corresponds reality.
Take this boat, export the hull model to obj, then import this obj into 3dmax/blender and look at the dimensions and scale there.

Here's a quick tool to scale OBJ files.
