Humble apologies but I see nothing resembling a smile and my glasses are only 24hrs old.

I can't see the reasoning behind the making of a new thread just to show an image of a bloody kestrel. I have a pair of kestrels who come into my garden regularly to rip some doves apart for lunch, you're quiet welcome to come and video them Skybird, there'll be a £10 admission fee of course, you do get tea and biscuits for free though, interested?. :D

It's the story behind it. I once had an angry uhu (big owl) going after me because I disturbed him in his cave (I didn't know). I would not have been able to photograph him, because I dived to the deck, then ran. :haha: Compared to an uhu, a kestrel is a bullet in flight.

We used to repair our cars in an old shed near Goettingen, at one time we were into it after 10 p.m. .. since then i have developed some respect towards those Uhus (name derived from their night call oo-hoo = same as eagle owls in english).
At least one had a nest up in the shed's attic and we were never aware, but i tell you they attack without any noise.
