turning map ship updates off
 

I don't think I am ready for the real navigation mod but I was hoping there was a middle ground.


Essentially I don't want the constant updates on other ships but I'm fine with the map tracking my sub.


Ideally I'd need to do my own range finding and plots of other ships. Although it would be cool if the watch also provided sighting directions and range estimates that would be plotted as a one time x mark on the map. Just don't want the constant satellite accuracy position updates of other boats.

I guess I'll update this incase anyone else has this question. There is a setting in the gameplay setting but you can't use it while you are on a mission. I might even need to start a new campaign but im hoping I can change it in port
