Binocular view is square?
1 Attachment(s)
Hello all!
I've recently reinstalled SH3 after many, many years. I was kind of surprised to see how good the game can actually look with some mods on it. Anyway, I've got a stable running install with mods (GWX Gold as a base), and everything is pretty much configured as I'd like (I believe, at least). I've got a small problem, though. When on the bridge, if I switch to binos view, the view is a square? https://www.subsim.com/radioroom/att...1&d=1689961567 I've tried uninstalling everything and re-installing it, but no luck. Current mod install is
ARB's data folder changes are installed via JSGME so I can ensure it's the last thing and not overwritten by anything else. This was my first attempt at fixing the issue, and it didn't help. Does anyone have any ideas? |

Ahnenerbe WideGui 1920 x 1080 Final you won't be bothered anymore.... if not, look at the TGA side :hmmm: |

I actually ended up utilizing CapZap1970's 'Adapted ARB WideGUI 1920x1080 for Onealex` instead, since I didn't really care for how Ahnenerbe made the navigation window so tiny. Seems to work fine on GWX, which makes sense since Onealex is based off it. Edit: Adding 'Fix for GWX and ARB 1920x1080 No officer at helms station' fixed the command button issue. I'm as happy as a U-boat captain approaching an unguarded convoy on a moonless night in calm weather with a full load of torpedoes. |
Welcome aboard! :Kaleun_Cheers:
Try without the optional free camera...I don´t know if that optional does not interfere with ARB optics. The rest seems well mounted. Also, you can try GWX OneAlex combination of mods, and do not make your own combination. :Kaleun_Wink: Best regards and good hunt! Fitzcarraldo :Kaleun_Salute: |
Whew. Just finished my first war patrol. It was wildly successful, but took 6 real time hours. Managed to sink a 10k ton Polish ship literally an hour after the war started, which was a great omen.
I actually did run OneAlex before this setup. It's the easiest supermod to get going, just download and go. Looked great and had no issues. It was a bit more difficult than I could cope with, though. When I got jumped by 4 DDs, managed to evade them for multiple real-time hours, only for two of them to run off and come back with MORE DDs.. yeah, in 80m of water there wasn't much I could do to disengage. Even at 50rpm and running silent. When my skill level goes up, I'll try again. |
