Patch of V16b fails
 

I have a DVD version of SH III dated 2007 which has the 1.4 patch. I tried to run the V16b patch and it gave me a no compatible versions found error. I'm wondering what versions are compatible?

Is the SH3.exe file write-enabled? Right-click on the SH3.exe file, and choose "Properties" from the context menu, then find the Attributes section, and if necessary, clear the "Read-only" tick box so that the file can be written to. My disk version of the game after an install sets the files to "Read-only"...

The executable is write enabled for all users.

A 2007 release still had StarForce didn't it?
Did you do the Reloaded fix?

I thought StarFarce was dropped after 1.3, but I do not remember, that is fershure for certain. I can't even find my disk anymore for that... could well be the issue if he's not at 1.4b (which shows as v1.4.0.1 on the Properties - Details screen...
