Happy Fathers day to all those who celebrate this occasion. I know the dates can vary from country to country. Although your dates may be different, If you're a father, we are celebrating YOU today. This is also a day to celebrate our own fathers and remember and celebrate our fathers who may no longer be with us.

Very well said CW it is Fathers Day here in the UK. My daughter left about an hour ago and I await my lad returning from work.

I'm happy to know you are having the chance to see your kids and grand daughter, Jim. Actually, I had you, Eichhörnchen, Marcel ( U-Crank ), Neal, Vinnie and Gorpet in mind when I posted the Fathers day greetings. I know all of you have families and in some cases, grand children. Those are the only ones I'm aware of who have spoken of having children.

It hardly matters as we all have Fathers, so, It's all good. :)

It's been 25 years since my dad passed away. I still think about him nearly every day.

Yes indeed - I got a bottle of the best rum I ever tasted - a cuban rum called "Havana Club". When I can focus my eyes again I'll mention it for posterity in the Subsim Skippers Brew-house thread. It's like distilled caramel :)

Not sure which one you have because there are quite a few varieties but 3/4 I have tasted were all good stuff.

Yes, that is a canny rum but nowhere near as good as the card :)
