Good morning to you wonderful people.


I'm looking to finally pick up Silent Hunter 3 after playing Rule the Waves and watching Wolfpack345's videos. Fascinated by U-Boat stuff, since I was a kid, so here I am. I'm a 29 year old guy from Germany, currently on my path to an Electrical Engineering degree.


Are there any differences between the Ubisoft and the Steam version, especially considering modding? I assume these games have oldschool modding, where I place and/or edit files manually and not the borked Workshop or something similar.
