R.I.P silenthunter 5
 

its been a while that I played silent hunter five and it wanted to do updates and it kept going though the request download and failed then I got the a error code and it stopped working.


so I deleted it and reinstalled it no error but it says a service is unavailable
please try again latter .


only this is going on for a week so I try to look for updates on the ubisoft own website only to find they want you to download a new silent hunter 5.


I don't get it when the game first came out they made it for ONLINE ONLY!!!!!! now years latter they were like oops this is a bad idea.


what are they going to do now turn it into a dumb down type like the others?
has anyone ran into this problem they caused what a waste of money..

Ubisoft updated their UPlay app to UConnect, and changed the install path to the game. That is about all they have done to SH5. It is still a bother to get things going correctly though... Maybe someone remembers some of the more helpful threads here and can help get you back up and running...

Download Ubisoft Connect from: https://ubisoftconnect.com/

Start the game from Uconnect. Uplay doesn´t work...
