Any experience with Linux compatibility?
 

A while ago I was able to play SH4 with FotRSU 1.46 on my working laptop on Linux, through Steam. I actually suspected the game was more stable than on (modern) Windows. I don't really remember any particular steps required.

I was trying to reinstall SH4 on the same machine. Stock game seems to be launching ok but once modded, I get a ctd from the loading screen. Tried OM Dark Waters, I get the same result.

I tried switching from Wayland to an X11 session (I confusely remember this was an issue for some applications), I didn't dig up the old version of the mod.

I know there aren't many Linux users around here but does anybody have any recent experience with the issue?
