Eduard 1/72 Grumman F6F-3 Hellcat
First time I played around with the airspray chipping technique.
The model is based on Lt. Alexander Vraciu's plane circa June 1944 https://i.ibb.co/dp8VHbX/20230218-162556.jpg More pictures: https://i.ibb.co/LgpxM5g/20230218-162613.jpg https://i.ibb.co/PtJ3fHX/20230218-162651.jpg https://i.ibb.co/yybQvHH/20230218-162737.jpg https://i.ibb.co/J3QZ8kX/20230218-162805.jpg https://i.ibb.co/jHWTqbB/20230218-162918.jpg |

Great job on the build.
Is Eduard worth the premium money? :hmmm: |

As far as I know Eduard has 2 "lines" of models, the "weekend edition" and the "ProfiPack edition" that has higher detailing, and is perhaps a bit more expensive. This model is a weekend edition and only cost me 12.5€ in my local model shop here in Portugal....from what I see in the store website most of their 1/72 plane models fluctuate between 13 and 20 euro, so they aren't that premium. |
