No signal from gyro to TDC

I find it strange that nobody has mentioned in these forums, the problem with no gyro input to the TDC. I've tried to search, but can't find anyone discussing it.


I'll try to explain:
The AOB dial on the TDC should be linked to the U-boat gyro. When you turn the U-boat, the AOB indicator should turn. When lining up for an attack, you should be able to change the course/heading of your U-boat, and the calculated solution will still be correct without any manual input to the AOB dial. This because, the gyro is turning the AOB dial to compensate for the course change.


Now... Is there any mod, that I have not seen, that fix this problem? Or is this too hard to correct, buried deep in the code?

The real TDC indeed updated the solution when you changed course, as it was linked to the compass, but in game it was programmed only to follow the periscope/UZO.

I don't know of any mod that fixes that, sorry. :wah:
