Do you fancy LEGO ?
If you do, have you seen this page
https://www.lesdiy.com/ Here are some of their products https://www.lesdiy.com/products/moc-...n-rings-part-a https://www.lesdiy.com/products/moc-...is-by-stebrick They are huge these models :o Markus |
While watching some yt videos with a guy building the Notre Dame I saw another page Stebrick
Here the complete Notre Dam set cost 12900 € :o:o While on the first page I linked to it cost 2,699.99 $ 2,699.99 is not 12900 in Euro. Not that I care, since I can't effort it-But this huge price difference. Edit I know now why this huge difference in price. The cheap from LesDiy is bricks from China While the expensive from Stebrick comes from the original LEGO company. End edit Markus |

You are absolutely right a LEGO sub diorama is more appropriate than Notre Dame her in our forum.

Very nice! Love the "Victory" and submarine. When I was a kid I designed and built a nice Lego "Yamato" to display in my room - complete with elevating 18" guns in the turrets. Fun stuff.

Forgot to mention why I made this thread.
While watching his build progress I thought we have a hobby section and building LEGO things is also a hobby and why not tell my friends that there are huge LEGO models you can get your hands on-If you have the money. There are some models I would love to build if I had the money. Edit Thought I would show you how big the Notre Dame is-when finished This clip is the first of 6 video clips about this church https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tkNd...xnHfr5HQl49W6s End edit Markus |

So I found this yt video about a Titanic model with 11.000 bricks.
A friend from a stream said he would be interested in building it with his Son. I've tried to find a part list and building instruction to this Titanic model without any luck. Markus |
|
Thank you, but he or his Son already has this model.
It was the other who would be 2.4 meters long he is interested in. And I tried to find both the parts list and building instruction. Edit I found a guy who had build a variation of the original Titanic model adding more bricks to the model so the model has 9724 pieces instead of 9090 pieces End edit Markus |

Lego was my childhood. Around 1992/3, or around 7 years old, I built a 30cm Das Boot U-96 model in black and grey bricks, may have a picture somewhere..
Some years later I built a 60cm long model of the pocket battleship Graf Spee. I had just read "The Hunt for Altmark", wherein the operations including the Graf Spee was detailed. Of course there was no such thing as uniform bricks to be bought in stores here, so it was all in rainbow colors. Turrets that turned, individual barrels could be lifted, AA, etc. Also built a small Bismarck one time. One thing I remember vividly was the day Estonia sank. It made a big impression on me. Alone in my room, I started building a model of it, in memory of the people and the ship lost. Model in white and blue. |
Cobi is a company who makes military and other stuff from Lego.
https://cobi.eu/ Edit Forgot something. If you like to build or would like to build huge LEGO models then there is BlueBrixx, Mould King, Build a moc. That's the name of the homepages. End edit Markus |
