Radione R3
Hi,
I am currently working on a new radio and I will replace the existing one with a Radione R3 (https://www.cryptomuseum.com/spy/radione/r3.htm). https://i.postimg.cc/bv6jPWHr/16f658...254350b5db.jpg short Story about Radione R3: In 1924 the brothers Dipl. Ing. Nikolaus and Theodor v. Eltz the company "Rundfunkapparatefabrik RADIONE" in Vienna. In the years 1938/39 the Radione R2 radio receiver was produced as a travel radio. The Radione R3 was produced as a military version. This radio receiver was built between 1942 and 1943. He was a shortwave receiver. Mains operation could be changed from 110 to 220 VAC using a cube plug. Battery operation with direct current was also possible. The device had a dynamic speaker. The case was made of metal. https://i.postimg.cc/50R6GKWK/Radione-R3-ingame.jpg The final version has been released: https://www.subsim.com/radioroom/dow...o=file&id=6345 |

I hope so too. But I think I need more time for this, because it is not so easy to find perfect pictures at the correct angle and good quality. I was also on vacation last week, so I had a lot of time to create the radio. :D |
The Radione R3 is also visible in the movie Das Boot from 1981 above the actor and singer Herbert Grönemeyer as lieutenant Werner:
