CTD with sea life mod?
 

I'm recently back to SH5. I never had problems with CTD at all (using TWOs). I installed the sea life mod and all was fine until I attacked a large convoy. After hitting a couple of ships I dived and after the depth charges started, I kept getting CTDs. This happened after reloading several times.

It may be nothing to do with the sea life mod but it's the only one I've installed in the last 2 years or so.

When I last used the mod didn't have any problems with crashing I got to re-download it what version of windows are you using and did you have a window update and are you using a manual save or auto save

I'm using Win 7. No updates. I use manual save.

I have been playing since after loading a save previous to encountering the large convoy. After a couple of hours gameplay I haven't had any CTDs . I have encountered another large convoy and am lined up to attack so I'll see what happens.

I'm using windows 11 after the last windows update my crash just got though sinking 3 merchants and about to manual save when it happened lucky the manual save got work but lost 5 hours of play but hope your keeps working

Cheers mate. Yeah I just successfully attacked a different convoy without any CTDs. 4 merchants sunk and all's well. It may have been a glitch or the sea mod but either way it seems to have been fixed.

Glad it fix now go sink some merchants

I had ctd with sea life mod only when i upgraded my conning tower.

Only problem I had with the mod was sometimes I would bounce up into the air most have hit a whale
