SH5 on Windows 11
:Kaleun_Salute:
Hi Fellas, long time no sea ;) Issue I have with sh5(ubi connect install) is that the game can't load any game save made on w11. I can load my savegames from cloud which were made both with and without TWOS back in the day on win10 fine. But if I save a game on my current setup(no matter vanilla or moded), game crashes to desktop upon loading that save. Seems that for some reason saves made on w11 are corrupted in some way compared to w10. Don't ask me about mods (because this happens on freshly installed ubi 1.2 vanilla) or reinstalls because I did fair portion of them already and it doesn't solve anything. Also the usual run as admin, compatibility etc tried it all. Any ideas what can cause that? Or how could it be solved? Anyone has a similiar problem/experience? Cheers and merry xmas to y'all :Kaleun_Cheers: |

well I created a VM with the same OS that I'm running on my laptop, and loading works fine on that w11, so might not be OS issue

can't enter sub sh5
Hi there, hope i am in the right space, here goes... i have upgraded too win11 and having problem entering sub..mission 'Total Germany'. i get to the stage where you accept mission but nothing changes, i remain on map or if i close map, back yaking to commander. some times i can't accept mission :hmmm:
Installed from sh5 disk, run as administrator in win 7 mode. cheers ps i posted on the 'bugs and glitches' thread :k_confused: |
Did you install the Ubisoft UConnect App? That replaces the disk's version of UPlay. I am having trouble once again on my Win7 install getting UConnect and Steam to properly talk with each other. I'll try a re-boot to verify it all is still working - which it was the other day...
