Setting depth manually gets executed twice
Hello,
in KSDII there is a bug where the depth gets set twice all the time you manually click on the depth dial. Which file could cause this isseu? https://i.gyazo.com/723ed45bd5faf756...fde1cefec1.png I checked the Dials.cfg but have not found anything hinting towards this. The issue happens with both dials, the shallow and the deep water one. |

i experience that quite often, in fact so often, that i do not even notice any longer. i couldn't find the source of the second message and just let the issue drop. have you ever reloaded a save game and received crew announcements: torpedo missed, sir like 150,000 times? i consider the question that you asked and the repeated announcement as two sides of the same coin. :Kaleun_Salute: |
I think it's more like this:
https://i.imgur.com/ltiaSD8.jpg Don't forget the empty toadstool also... if at Battle Stations, you might get a third one. The "voices" you hear are basically time-triggered, so there are instances where a voice will repeat because the game allows 3 seconds (as an example) for an "event", but the ogg file has been edited or changed, and is only 1.25 seconds long, you will then get two or sometimes 3 voice repeats - unless something "more important" interrupts. "We're taking damage sir!" "We have heavy flooding sir!!!" CapnScurvy "padded" some of the voice files in FotRSU with muted audio to make the files longer in length, and that did help with reducing some of the shorter voice repeats. There are more that need that treatment though. :salute: |
