Who is John Galt

I'm a Galt!... Yes i have escaped the looney bin that my loving left wing family decided was the best for me. And they would divey up my meager wealth and the delta would finish me off...They were wrong ! I still had access to my amazon prime thru the remote.I watched Atlas Shrugged "Ok let me say this right now my spelling may not be correct all the time from here on out and i don't care" so they let me out to smoke. You see they thought my old flip phone didn't work but it does.

I called Uber and 10 min.later i regained my freedom yi ki ya for me. First thing to do was dig up those PVC pipes i buried with cash in them they didn't know about. Next stop reclaim my laptop from my son. Faced with a 6"cast iron skillet he gave it up. I had another Uber driver waiting for me 3 blocks away i rode over to that location on a browed bicycle. And now im on the run. i'm posting this from the back seat of another Uber driver car across the street from what used to be my home. You see i have the password for the wi fi saved in my flip phone.

I don't know how long my freedom will last But im going to enjoy every last minute of it.End transmission Gorpet.

I ask myself the same question, so I made a search and found this

Quote:

John Galt (/ɡɔːlt/) is a character in Ayn Rand's novel Atlas Shrugged (1957). Although he is not identified by name until the last third of the novel, he is the object of its often-repeated question "Who is John Galt?" and of the quest to discover the answer

Read the novel. It describes our present and how we got there and do follow that alley down to the last bitter meters - forseen already back in the late 40s, early 50s.

Whether for you or your family will remain unsaid

No offense taken. I just have a faible for the sea, have been on different ships mostly privately (apart from military time), but the best was always sailing during holidays. I could look at the horizon forever.. so this 'motto' is initially a quote from Rod Stewart's 'Rhythm of my heart' Where the ocean meets the sky, I'll be sailing. Never found a better one :03:

Seriously i don't know whether to congratulate, but i hope you can do what you want, just don't get into trouble; or not more than usually :)

“Do not let the hero in your soul parish, in lonely frustration, for the life you deserved but never have been able to reach. Check your road and the nature of your battle. The world you desired can be won. It exists, it is real, it is possible, it is yours.” :salute:

Are we going to start quoting the book of Supply Side Economics? :haha:
Cuz, maybe we'll get it right in another sixty years.

Well Gorpet. I'm not sure if they know you escaped but I won't " rat " you out and I haven't seen you, either. My suggestion is you pull out the Dyna Wide glide and ride like the wind.

Seriously, glad to see you are among us.

“There are two novels that can change a bookish fourteen-year old’s life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves orcs."

((The Lord of the Rings isn't actually a novel, but a trilogy)

I like it.

it is amusing when someone first reads the fiction books by Rand and "suddenly" has an epiphany about it.
