SH5 Internet connection experiences problems

I have had to re-install my laptop(windows 10 Home 64 bit) & since then when I try to play SH5 then see this;

"The internet connection experiences problems and the current game was save. please wait until the internet connection is restored or press OK button to return to the main menu"

I have allowed SH5,uplay & Steam through my firewall & added all of them to exceptions still no joy.

I have uninstalled then re-installed uplay & Steam along with SH5 & the 1.2 patch, still no joy, where or what am I doing wrong?
Can anybody please help me with this?

Thanks in advance

Try running SH5 in administrator mode if you haven't been doing that already. You may also want to change the game compatibility mode to the windows 7 option (I have no problems running this game on windows 10 64 bit but just in case)

Another post also outlined the same issue you are having and "DieReeperbahn" had a simple fix that worked for a few people:

That happens to me all the time. Just press Esc instead of OK. :up:

I was running as administrator but didn't use the windows 7 option, I tried on a few others but not that one.
Thank you for helping, I will try it out now.
