Large memory address ???

Hello shipmates. i was just now installing some new, (new to me), mods i found on Wolfpack345's mod list.
(His current campaign in FOTRS in the S-Boat)
Anywho...
in DrJesters environmental overhaul V1.0 it is strongly recommended i enable or use a mod called LARGE MEMORY ADDRESS AWARE or LAA.exe but i do not know where this mod exists, or if im just dumb...
How to i enable or implement this?
Can someone post a link or give me some instructions?
:hmmm:

Ahoy, rein... :Kaleun_Cheers:

That, is because... Large Address Aware, or LAA as some call it... isn't a mod.

It's an app or program that tells your computer that... 'hey, dummy, this game is able o utilize more than 2 gb of ram, it is capable to handle up to 4, so assign the .exe 4 gb of ram.'

Can find a copy to d/l (can install generally any where, (after you unzip it... that is. :hmmm: almost forgot to mention that part...) where I installed it is in My C:\Games folder, so I know right where it is... an alternate locality, is desktop... as another place for that same reason) here:

https://www.techpowerup.com/forums/t...-aware.112556/

Scroll down to the section marked, 'attachments' & grab the 1st 1 on the left hand side.

After you install it... LAA is a relatively easy 3 step process to do... just point it to where the sh4.exe is, check the box & click ok or accept & pretty much done.

Eazy peezy, mac & cheezy... So easy, a cave man could do it... :haha: :har: :D sorry, My weird sense of humor showing up.. :D

Hope this info helps... :shucks: :yep:

If you download FotRSU, all you will "need" is 7-Zip to extract the mod archive. LAA and MultiSH4 are included in the mod download, since LAA is necessary to run FotRSU. :salute:

Huh... I missed noticing that LAA, was indeed in there...

To be frank, have been overly more used to having to keep track of that through searching google for it... :shucks:

nice to see it was thought of, to be included in with the main mod...
