No ability to upgrade equipment / subs, choose emblems or use renown in TWoS?
 

UPDATE: Never mind. Found the 2nd character to interact with in port and add emblems, upgrade equipment and change torp loadouts All good!

I'm a SH3 vet but VERY new to SH5...bought the game on Steam recently. I skipped the vanilla version and opted for install TWoS straight from the get go. Love the mod, but I really miss certain aspects of SH3.

For example: is there no ability to upgrade equipment / subs, transfer flotillas, choose turm emblems or use renown in TWoS? If so...where's the interface for that? Is it not in vanilla SH5 as well? All I see in port are two options: request a mission or start a patrol without orders.

Hi,

in SH5 you may choose emblems and use upgrades. The upgrades will require renown points. The same in TWOS mod.
These options can be found when you're in bunker, addressing the person in charge. Afterwards, you will see the interface.

as for the upgrades, not all of them are available from the very beginning, the majority are accessible from certain year/campaign chapter
