Myanmar the next Syria ?
It is terrible to hear what's going on in Myanmar(Burma)
Demonstrate is being fired on by their military and police. When hearing these things I came to think on the civil war in Syria. It also started with citizens in cities in Syria began to demonstrate and the military open fire against them. That's why I wonder-When will some part of the Myanmar army say enough and become allied with the people ? Markus |
Many places on Earth are hellholes. Yesterday I red that somewhere in Africa IS militants have beheaded many 11-year old children before the eyes of their mothers, many of them. And for what? Just to create pain and misery and suffering. That was the intention.
Its hard to maintain at least a little bit of faith in man at times. I dont believe in the goodness of man in general anymore since a long time. I only see a bit of goodness in some men. |
Sadly this is not the first time.

I think we will be hearing much more about wars, civil wars, protests and the fall of governments in throughout Asia. I'm sure we may hear the headlines call for freedom and democracy again. But I really believe it has always had more to with controlling the energy pipelines that now crisscross the continent. Just like the one that runs through Myanmar to China
Beijing is caught in the precarious middle of Myanmar's escalating coup conflict and will be damaged regardless of which side wins https://asiatimes.com/2021/03/chinas...es-in-myanmar/ 1 point NATO - 0 point China |
Some of the revolutionaries targeted the wrong companies. I take it a lot of those chinese factories really belong to Taiwan, and Beijing will of course not criticise burning down those..
