Annoying bug

Noticed with SH 4 TMO 2.5 when save and reload game that sometimes game "forgets" ships had sunk, even though it shows up in the log and icon is on map.

Also, noticed when uploaded, it eliminates premature explosions, but kicks in gyro angle errors. I.E. 12 torpedoes in a row had gyro angle issues pushign them 30-50 degrees off lol definitely a bug. Any ideas?

can confirm gyro angle errors with TMO. Had twice the situation that every torpedo went about 20° - 30° off to the left. I stopped using it after that.

when you say SH4 forgets ships had sunk, do you, mean that you have the opportunity to sink the same ship(s) again?
if the answer is yes, then it is probably due to shell-outs. i experienced that phenomenon before i wizened up and stopped shelling out. now, it no longer occurs.

yes, i have seen this happen and cannot explain it.
through experimentation i discovered that if i fire (after start or reload) my first torpedo using any tube other than Tube 1, i do not experience the problem. yes, it sounds crazy but i no longer experience the problem you describe.

What I have seen happen is that I will sink some number of ships, save the game, come back later, and load the game.

The ship sunk icon is on the map, the sinking is recorded in the log, but when I end the patrol, the game will be missing some of the sinkings in my final tally.

that's odd. i've never experienced that before...but that does mean anything.
there are all kinds of uncommon activities that are experienced.
