Meta: Double-post or edit?
In other forums I've been in, multiple followed posts by the same person where frowned upon, encouraging the editing of posts.
Does Subsim do the same? I noticed that editing a post doesn't update the time of last reply, so editing a post won't notify other users of new stuff. I didn't find anything about it in the forum rules. Also, sorry if I put this in the wrong category. I didn't find any for meta stuff. |
Mostly people post multiple times when they quote multiple posts (there's a multi-quote button, guys!), other than that I'd personally prefer to edit your post if it's an active thread and post a new reply if time has passed enough for there to be a need to bump the thread.
EDIT: Oh, and welcome. |
Thanks!
Thank you! Your answer is helpful! (Is there something like reactions to avoid making these simple posts?)
