the only way i know of to turn off the periodic, incoming radio messages is to empty the message.txt file. if you empty the file and there are no messages to send there may not be a TC change. try it and see what happens. make a backup of the message file first, though, just in case.:D :Kaleun_Salute: |
Where is the message text file??:timeout:

^There might be a better way than that, look in Ubisoft\Silent Hunter 4 Wolves of the Pacific\Data\Cfg\Main.cfg and change any radio contacts to a higher number.
If you are using any mods which are active in jsgme have a look in there as well, save the game in the office and then uninstall the mod, make any changes and hopefully it should be OK. I would not use too high a setting though as you just never know what message might be useful to you. |
I have found the messages file then dragged it to desktop and then deleted the same file in the data/campaign folder..I have just run a test mission from Pearl Harbor to Midway to the South Japan Sea...No problems, no messages and the only times the time increments went down was for planes and ships in my area..:salute::up::D (and i sank 5 Jap ships..)Tango Yankee KaluenMarco!!!
