Its The Swinging 60,s & the Mark 14 Is Back
i,ve often thought why the mark 14 was never in the Game Especially Since even the Mark 16 weapon references it :
WeaponObjectReference=usn_mk16 [Model] ModelFile=weapons/assets/usn_mk14 Material=weapons/assets/usn_mk14_mat MaterialTextures=weapons/assets/usn_mk14_tx also it was in use on multiple naval vessels So Now its back Introducing the New Early 60,s Anti Ship Torpedo line up ive added 2 New Torpedoes and Reworked the one in the game to fit So now Epic Waters has these new Weapons on my 1960,s Boats so ----Nautilus Class------- USS Nautilus (SSN-571) -------Skate Class------- USS Skate (SSN-578) USS Swordfish SSN-579 USS Sargo SSN-583 USS Seadragon SSN-584 -----Halibut class---- USS Halibut (SSGN-587) ----Barbel class----- Barbel SS-580 Blueback SS-581 Bonefish SS-582 ----George Washington class------ George Washington SSBN-598 Patrick Henry SSBN-599 Theodore Roosevelt SSBN-600 Robert E. Lee SSBN-601 Abraham Lincoln SSBN-602 the new weapons are : Mark 14 Mod 3 Anti-ship Torpedo Settings= Straight run Speed = 46 Knots Range = 4,500 Yards Warhead = 303 Kg TPX explosive Mark 16 Mod 0 Anti-ship Torpedo Settings= Straight or Pattern run Speed = 46 Knots Range = 7,000 Yards Warhead = 570 kg of TPX explosive This was the most powerful conventional submarine torpedo warhead ever used by any Navy. Mark 16 Mod 1 Anti-ship Torpedo Settings= Straight or Pattern run Speed = 46 Knots Range = 11,500 Yards Warhead = 440 kg of HBX explosive These Combine well with my existing Reworked Mark 37 Line of Anti submarine torpedo,s Mark 37 Mod 0 = Free Running No wire -30 knots Mark 37 Mod 1 = Wire Guided - 26 knots Mark 37 Mod 2 = Wire guided - 26 Knots Mark 37 Mod 3 = Free Running No wire - 30 Knots Mark37NT = Free Running No wire (OTTO Fuel 36 Knots) & other versions NT37C NT37D NT37E NT37F i,ve also reworked my early 60,s Sonar Panel so its for : usn_an_bqs_4 AN/BQS-4=This system formed the active component of the sonar suite on 1950's era USN subs. Unlike the BQR-2 though, it is still powerful enough to detect otherwise silent enemies. usn_an_bqr_2 AN/BQR-2=Derived from the German wartime GHG sonar suite as fitted on the Type XXI electroboot, the BQR-2 is a medium frequency sonar fitted to most USN subs until the Thresher/Permit Class. Though adequate for its day, by the 1980's this system is woefully obsolete and nearly blind against all but the oldest Soviet boats. This is the sonar suite for Skate , Halibut , Nautilus , Skipjacks & Barbel Class and also the George Washington Class which was basically a Skipjack with a added missile bay I will be making a new George Washington Model at some point but im still working on a few Royal Navy new Models at the Moment & new Weapon / Aircraft Models I,ve made and added a new five-bladed propeller model to the vessels that needed them before they were refitted with seven-bladed propellers Skipjacks got their refit between 1973 and 1976 so after this the propellers change to the 7 bladed ones that coldwaters originally gave them hears a few pics Steel Shark |
The 5-bladed Skipjacks were faster, but louder than their later 7-bladed versions.

yep
ive accounted for this on barbel , skipjack , thresher class after prop refit they lose some speed but are less noisy im also guessing that the George Washington class were the same as the Scorpion (SSN-589) and the not-yet-started Sculpin (SSN-590) as they were suppose to be skpjacks Originally
