Distant Cover

Can somebody/anybody please help/advise me with Distant Cover?
I have searched high & low and so far have only seen a task force doing 27 knots,as I was a good distance away,despite chasing in on an intercept course I could not get anywhere near it.

Am I going to the wrong place at the wrong time?

Has anybody found the A/C carriers and/or the battleships? if anybody has can you please tell me when & where you found them?

Task forces are in nature... difficult to attack. Which is why they speed! To get a task force requires excellent charting, dead reckoning, a little bit of luck, and a spread of torpedos.

so far I am only in June 1942,so have a few months to hunt the task forces.

You are at the peak of being able to hunt them. They are merciless!
