Thats sad. Even though I despise the Cardinals that is sad, I'm more of a Cubs fan.

As well as a heck of a fighter, still pitching three batters?! after having a broken leg. If he struck them all out, he would have thrown 12 picthes, but if he threw a variation, my guess would be somewhere around 25-30 pitches. Thats insane considering how fast and powerful he was throwing as well as the leg being important for pitching velocity.

All in all, he was an excellent player. Sad to see him go. :(
