Jet suit trial for Great North Air Ambulance paramedics

Quote:

A jet suit for paramedics has been tested by the Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS) in the Lake District.

It comes after a year of talks between GNAAS and Gravity Industries.

Andy Mawson, GNAAS director of operations, said users do not need to be travelling that fast to cover large areas of terrain, compared with someone on foot. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/av/uk-england-54341378
I believe this would be a world first.

They should better invent a suite in which to super-sonic-speed fire a patient to the next hospital. :D

Maybe not exactly a jet suit.

Here on our island they have in cooperation with the main hospital in Odense developed a drone which can transport blood test, other test from our island to either Svendborg or Odense hospital.

Today a curer has to transport these test in car..from our island via the ferry to Svendborg or Odense.

One day in the future the surgeons will come flying instead of the patient flying in a helicopter.

One day they will not care to repair patients anymore, but simply replace the whole unit at night when nobody sees. :o

Jeeze! Your good idea+ Skybirds good idea = a better idea!!?? Skybird's inadvertant linguistic genius: the surgeon will arrive in his supersonic completely prepped (incl kevlar lining) surgical suite! They'll have to refilm M.A.S.H.!:Kaleun_Thumbs_Up:

Well I'm generous. Sailor Steve would issue a yellow infraction for misspelling, whereas I tend to seek the "silver lining of inspiration in every cloud"...errrr "the kevlar in every flying suite"!:O:
