GWX claims my fresh install is modded.
 

Just installed SH3, trying to install GWX but it claism my game is modded, even though that is quite literally impossible. Why no feauture to bypass this?

Hi Karl_Tennstedt your SH3 install is it a reinstall by any chance if so did you ensure that all files of your previous SH3 install was removed including the SH3 Career save folder from your documents.
I had same problem until i used ccleaner to clean up my registry.

Yes, all folders were completely removed before reinstall. Still claims it's modded. I'm not getting ccleaner just for something like this.

Hi Karl your SH3 install from dvd or Steam download
if its the dvd version did you install SH3 outside C:/ x86 Programe files
I created a folder on Drive C:/Games so its outside of drive C:/x86 security protection on windows 10.

It's on the D drive, entirely different then the C one :P

also when you installed GWX did you also install the 4gig patch and if you are using the commander mod did you install the commander mod config

I mean, there is a "feauture to bypass this". To affirm the truth, there are actually more then one. The knowledge may needed is located everywhere on Subsim. Try searching. Try harder.
