Show us your man cave ... lets get to know each other better
It would be a lot easier to identify with some of y'all if we could put ourselves in your environment.
This is my humble home and office and man cave all in one. https://scontent.fbis1-1.fna.fbcdn.n...24&oe=5F5EF88F |
Damn, is that on a boat? My man cave? Ow! Stand by...

Bad photos in bad light but I'll contribute.

Cool Buddahaid
I hope those are replica's without bullets in CA What the heck is that cage at the bottom for, Hamster? :o |
Had me going about the bullets as there is a clip near the stahlhelm of real but empty rounds. All the weapons are Star Trek replica props and mostly of my own making from castings.
The cage is a new 3D printer I use to make parts for prop builds and lately also parts to repair the CAPR helmets for the hospitals I work for. My old printer I donated to the Biomed shop at Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital so they can print parts inhouse and I Just drew up and printed a new part today. In fact I've been printing hundreds of parts to keep the CAPR helmets in service for Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital, Petaluma Valley Hospital, and Queen of the Valley Hospital over the past few months. That is a large part of the reason I get so pissed at people who scoff at Covid-19 precautions. I'm dealing with it everyday. |
That 3D printer sort of also gave me a start; it kinda looked like one of those devices one sees on TV action dramas that prompts SWAT or SOG to swarm the room...

Nice idea, i do not have a man cave yet. We have no cellar and the house is not very big.. I am currently converting a garden tools shed 6x3 meters to a small workshop for repairing and creating all kinds of things.
I wanted to put some model railroad display there, problem is the shed (2,5 cm wood walls and black EPDM roof) gets really very hot in the summer - winter is not a problem with heating, but cooling.. currently trying to put some insulation to the walls, and then think about some passive venting 'system'. Can make some photos of the status quo but not much to see yet. Hope to get it all ready and working for winter.. |
I've a house evaluer coming in about ten minutes so shortly thereafter I'll take a piccie or two.

My man cave at 2x3m will be relatively small in comparison to others but every space is utilised to the full and is sufficient for my computer equipment and diecast collection so I'm satisfied.
Another positive being the wife keeps out provided I keep it clean. https://i.postimg.cc/fR7zbYyg/Image.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/Hxnd3K2f/Image2.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/bdcPyvhh/Image3.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/44KhxFgL/Image4.jpg |
That's cool Jim ... kinda tight though for someone your size. :D
So you drink lemonade right out of the bottle, uh? :yep: That is lemonade, right? |

My man cave is 97 + 40 square meter.
The positive by living on your own with a lovely little cat is that your man cave is huge. Markus |
That's an impressive collection there Cybermat47
Nice and clean looking display too, but aren't you worried sleeping so close to all of those little soldiers that could come out at night and attack you? :o |
You want a 360 degreee tour of my little rat-hole? Well, we're planning to move in with the mother-in-law in a couple of years or so... she'll live in an annexe with her mutts and the integral garage will be turned into a dedicated space for me and the boy, so we can go hog-wild with all our gaming stuff in one place. Until then I still have this upstairs room where I can do everything: painting, gaming and modelling. Moira has her 'craft room' downstairs but you don't want to see that, believe me
