Always sad when someone close to you passes away.

You mean 'thread'?

Tread = walk in a specified way.

Didn't even know that Donald had a younger brother till now.

I heard one time that he had an older brother that died of alcohol and made Donald promise not to drink. Mr Trump kept that promise.

So I mentioned it in another thread after DT became the POTUS that he didn't drink and you know what response I got?

"Hitler didn't drink either" :D

Been there, done that. I should send a sympathy card.

Yeah now the Democrats are saying that the wrong Trump died. Lovely people these leftists.

Through the years, there have been many accounts of the rather distant relationship Donald had with his brother; many have recounted how not only DT, but the rest of the family at large, tended to treat Robert as a sort of low level employee; DT is reported to have once offered to dump Robert from the Trump Org. in order to secure funding for a deal; every wealthy family seems to have one relation who is treated as the odd man out and Robert seems to have served that function for DT...

It must have been a difficult existence for Robert and I hope he is treated well if there is an afterlife...

Was reading an article on him the other day (BBC iirc) and that was the conclusion I came to.
