Radio broken when I start in 1944 GWX?
 

***RADAR BROKEN, not RADIO. Typo. Not sure how to change title***

So, when I start in 1944 with a boat that has radar, I get a message from my CE saying "CE: radar destroyed" and when I try to repair it, I can't.

I've tried starting my 1944 patrol out at sea (SH3cmdr), thinking maybe the antenna was hitting the flotilla ceiling, but it didn't fix it. I have the GWX snorkels radar mod installed.

Any idea why my subs spawn with broken radars? I can't figure this one out.

Abominable, I think it´s because you must install the Late War Sensors Snorkel Antennas mod if you are using GWX, I could be wrong, but I think that's the answer. By the way, what super mod are you using?

If you provide that information, the experts in those issues will be able to give you a more precise advice. :03:

I am using GWX and sh3cmdr. Also I have installed that mod already.

In 1944, the FuMO-29 "Seetakt" and FuMO-30 "GEMA" radars were used. Which one is installed?

I went through the GWX manual, but I never thought to go back over it for this "bug." Thanks so much! This fixed it, I would have never found this on my own haha.

Can you give me a rough timeframe when this mod should be installed?, for accuracy's sake...
