newbie questions

I want to buy the PC digital download, for windows 10. There are so many sites that offer it, which is the best? What upgrades, mods, must haves, etc. would you recommend?
Any help would be welcomed.

Welcome! You will definitely want to get TWOS. That is a supermod, arguably the supermod that fixed the game, certainly the easiest to install and the most comprehensive in my opinion. Check the SH5 mods section, first sticky thread will have all the information you need.
