Smoke disappearing?
 
Hi!

Today I realized that sometimes smoke from a fire just disappears from one moment to another when the fire hits water level... has that been always like this (a bug)? I never realized it, but in a couple of videos on youtube I saw a number of examples where this does not happen...

Is there a mod / fix?

I also noticed that in NYGM.The smoke suddenly completely disappears (when ship is sinking) ... pouf...no progressive slow down as in other mega mod.
I think it’s a node setting that could be adjusted in Particules.dat...but didn’t find it yet.

The behaviour disappeared after i removed tdw's damage by fire and smoke mod. The problem is obviously some kind of conflict with this.

I don’t have the mod you mention and have the disappearing smoke!

I use the "PS"-variant from LNG1. Works good.

I'd thought it was part of MFM but sank three med cargo today and they burned all the way down and left a smoking greasy spot on the water.

only differences I can see is I'd left out smoke damage model on this go round. reason I'd thought it was MFM was last build they where the only ships that would go out soon as they touched water,..all webs, and GWX ships would burn and smoke in grande fashion right to the bottom.

really strange.
