I Have Lost My Wife And Soul Mate To Cancer
Hello my friends.
It saddens me to tell you that my wife passed peacefully away at home at 17.15 on Tuesday. She was diagnosed in February with bile duct terminal cancer after becoming jaundiced. Although Lynnette had a stent fitted, it became blocked within a month and the jaundice came back and she looked like a minion. From Monday afternoon she became bed bound and had a rough painful night. On Tuesday morning the district nurse used a syringe driver to insert the drugs needed to keep her comfortable. A cetheter was fitted and it drained away the fluid from the liver which was causing the pain from the night. She was able to communicate with family and friends who came to say goodbye and by late afternoon drifted into a coma. It would have been her 72nd birthday on the 23rd, we would have been married for 50 years on November 13th. God bless you, your loving husband Peter |
THEBERBSTER, I am so sorry, my deepest condolences. I lost a young friend to cancer back in the first grade. He was only 7.
We should treasure the time we have with our family members or any other person as they can be taken away from us tomorrow or right now. I hope you are ok, THEBERBSTER. |
Peter it saddens me to hear this news.
My sincere condolences to you and your family. |
My deepest condolences, I hope you have people around you that watch over you while you try to find light in this darkness that has fallen. And if you have the feeling your soul mate sails an easier ocean of light now - trust in that feeling and wish her a bon voyage, for doing so over time might help you to find back into the light as well. Just give it time.

Oh no, this is terrible news.
Have no words, my deepest condolences to you, and your family. |
My deepest condolences
She will live on in your heart and in your memory Markus |
People say that a person is only truly dead once they are forgotten.
Keep her memory alive and she won't be dead, she is already dead physically, but not mentally. 50 years is a long time to be married. It must've been a healthy and very loving relationship. She is in a better land now and is not in pain and is healthy and happy. I will pray for you, THEBERBSTER. I hope that you recover and get back to life and you keep her alive forever. |
My deepest condolences to you and your family. This is indeed very sad news. I hope you all will find solace in the memories she has given you and the love you have shared. Blessings on all of you and blessings on her soul...

Breaks my heart to hear of your loss.

What an awful shock, Peter... I'm so very very sad and sorry. Grief is the price we pay for love, so they say... but I can't begin to imagine it, old friend
|
Ah Peter, I am sorry to hear that. I hope you know what comfort your friends here can give is yours for the taking.
|
So sorry for your loss.

Oh Peter. I am so terribly sorry to hear of your dear Lynette's passing. Truly, I'm at a loss for words right now. As Neal already said, you have many friends here to lean on at this difficult time. I hope you have that there as well. We are all a message away.
I will keep both you, Lynette and your families in my prayers. Rest in Peace Lynette and may God's blessing be upon you both and your families. All the best to you, Peter. CW |
I am so sorry for your loss, but what a tribute of a life of love for so many years.
|
Please accept my sincere condolences.
