This was immediately useful to me (researching the fate of U-821)

These are great sites, derstosstrupp and Bilge Rat. With the various stay at home initiatives, these sites give everyone something of interest to read while staying at home. :up:

I particularly liked the patrol areas and the U-boat and commanders and dates the u-boats were there.

A collection of these links should be made in to a sticky and put in an appropriate forum.


People can add to it as other research links are found

I would like to add http://www.navweaps.com/ if your research extends to torpedoes and especially the history of the different types/mods

That has already been done years back but I can't remember if it was stickied.

I tend to bookmark my sites if interest.
