Still old VIIA U-Boat in Happy Times
 

Hey,

it's the 27.07.1940 in the Happy Times campaign and I'm still driving around with the VIIA Sub instead of the VIIB (WoS Mod btw). My crew even talks about the new boat and how well it has been constructed, but the boat didn't change...

Can somebody help me? :D

That won't help I'm afraid. The main reason behind skipped new sub offer is insufficient number of rating points caused by patrols without any tonnage or neutral kills...You can check your rating in KSD Commander.

not that it helps game wise, but there still Type VIIa in service at that time. The last one retired in early 41.

Ehm.... That may be possible :D Didn't sink that much ships in my career. Is there a way to still get the boat when I sink more ships? Or am I stuck with the Type A boat until I get to a new campaign chapter?

You would need to sink more ships and complete more missions/objectives to get a new boat.

Ah, I was curious about this myself. My question is answered. Time to be more aggressive, harvest more tonnage, me thinks.

Is it possible to transfer? I dont know, haven't played SH5 that much but in SH3 I can transfer and sometimes get a new boat.
