Ubisoft: U-Play vs. Direct Download on Win10
 

Hi all: So I tried playing SH3 via Steam but then 1) kept getting the "game is paused" at start of a mission and 2) when that was fixed all my previous Scenarios to my career disappeared.

So I thought I might switch to Ubisoft. So I signed up for account. It says I can either Direct Download SH3 to my PC for $6.99 or play on UPlay (but then keep paying a monthly fee).

does anybody have experience using playing SH3 via UPlay. I was thinking about paying for the Direct Download but my machine runs on Windows 10 and not the recommended XP or Win98.
