Escaping and TC

Ahoy!
I have been trying to escape 4 escorts for some time now and have silent running on , travelling at 1kt at 63m depth. So far, with these parameters, I have not been hit by a `wasserbomb`. That is until I ramp up the time compression. Is this some kind of glitch in the game?

Are you saying that AI works better with TC enabled? I haven't noticed that...:hmmm:

No. If I use TC during a depth charge, i get killed, and it makes sense because I can't react quick enough to change course. I also can't hear pings past 8x. I never TC when depth charged... ever. I don't recommend it to anyone.
