What am I missing/ or doing wrong?
 

Good afternoon Capt's- I have always been a big fan of subs and tanks. I'm not very good at playing, but I'm trying. So here is the problem, I have downloaded some of the RUM convoy missions, extracted them, used JSGME to enable, start SH III 3.0 Gold and I don't see them in the single missions? So what I'm I doing wrong?
Also is there a basic convoy mission downloadable that is just like 4-8 ships in a standard config that you can do a slow approach on and get all the vitals, to turn and attack, instead of the training one that puts you to close?

I'm not familar with the RUM missions you mention, but look at the directory path to the single missions in your game install and make sure the RUM missions path is the same.

Try the Real WWII GWX Convoys 15 missions both single and multiplayer more missions to come the download will grow as i add more Convoys

Don't forget that the full path must be in the English and / or German folder.

Be sure it is RUM (data) not DATA SingleMissions etc.

These missions are not yet JSGME ready. Under the "Real WWII Convoys" folder there is missing the "Data" folder. Underneath that, the folders containing the single or multiplayer missions have the wrong name (even a typo) making them end up in the wrong place. Further, there is a folder for the language missing. Inside the language folder the different folders for the particular mission name should be placed.

Something like this:

SilentHunterIII\MODS\Real WWII Convoys\data\MultiMissions\English\1939-09-16-2200 (CON OB-4)

SilentHunterIII\MODS\Real WWII Convoys\data\SingleMissions\English\1939-09-16-2200 (CON OB-4)

In my case, using the German language in SH3 I needed to copy the English folders and rename them to German. (Another option would be a folder for the French language)

(all the missions together only take about 500kB per language folder, so there is little point to worry about duplicate files in the folder structure.)
